ASDC was founded beginning of 2002 by Preben Hansen with the purpose of doing small and mid size software development projects. Until now the ASDC has only had one permanent employee, Preben Hansen. Some of the projects have been carried out in cooperation with parent companies. As the company goal is quality and not quantity, there are no plans to increase the staff unless another expert wishes to join the company and it makes business sense to expand.

Preben Hansen, born in Denmark 1962, has worked in the Danish IT industry as system analyst and developer since he completed his master degree in electro- and software engineering in September 1986. Next to his employment he studied and became bachelor of business administration in 1990. Until 1994 Preben Hansen worked in the computer communication industry being responsible for analysis, design and implementation of various network management systems, in the last years also as project leader.

In 1994, Preben Hansen joined COREBIT Switzerland starting as Senior Consultant on client/server projects in Switzerland. Since 1996 Preben Hansen also has had middle management responsibilities for a group of 12 - 15 consultants.

In 2000, he was elected president of the Sybase & PowerBuilder User Group, Switzerland, and in 2001, Mr. Hansen started working as senior consultant through the company RakSoft Consulting.

Here are links to a brief overview of the education and courses taken by Preben Hansen. Of outmost importance is the master degree in electro- and software engineering, which constitutes the foundation for structured working methods, fast understanding of theory and easy knowledge expansion. The education has continuously been maintained and complemented by numerous courses in order to keep the high standard.

To a more comprehensive picture of Preben Hansen belongs to mention, that he is Swiss married and has two children. His most significant hobby is bicycling – the longer the better. E.g. in year 2001 he was bicycling from Copenhagen, Denmark to Malaga, Spain with a colleague in 10 days, that’s a distance of over 3000km.
